Berlin and Moscow stand pars pro toto for Germany and Russia; the exhibition has been conceived from today`s perspective. Around 200 artists are represented; significant artistic positions of the last fifty years of German-Russian art history are reviewed. The volume is entirely in colour and printed in the highest quality. It contains, in addition to the main part, which is structured according to themes with numerous illustrations as well as texts by Russian and German authors, an encyclopaedia which documents the work of the artists participating in the exhibition.
